□ MOLIT (Minister Kim Hyun-mee) announced on the 31st that it was awarded for the 2019 Asia-Pacific Stervie Awards for innovation in public affairs communication* for its two PR videos including its main policy PR video <We Cheer for Your Day> and the residential welfare policy video <Did You Sign Up for Youth Residence? Good Boy>.
* Award for Innovation in public affairs Communications

ㅇ The main PR video <We Cheer for Your> talks about the overall policies in the land, infrastructure and transport sector including housing, cities, land, construction, transportation and logistics, and it is comprised of a total of three videos that discuss the policy roles of the MOLIT that cheer on citizens in their everyday lives.

- In particular, the video on youth airline jobs that has recently received a lot of attention was produced based on the true story of First Officer Ahn Ji-hyun, who was formerly a flight attendant, who became a first officer pilot for E Star Jet after completing her training at the MOLIT Uljin Flight Training Center.

- First Officer Ahn Ji-hyun appeared in the video voluntarily and it was judged that she was able to deliver the message of hope and consensus based on her success story of not giving up on her dreams for others who dream of becoming pilots.

ㅇ The b-grade parody video <Did You Sign Up for Youth Residence? Good Boy> targeting youths has been very popular since its release in social media platforms including YouTube prior to the announcement for accepting applications for Happy House.

- In particular, actress Kim Su-mi appeared as a next-door neighbor of a youth who talks complains about the difficulties she faces during rainy seasons as she lives on the semi-basement floor. Kim gives the advice, “The government made a great policy so make sure to apply before everyone else,” as she appeared to talk about the policies for supporting youth housing.

□ The Stervie Awards stated, “A total of 900 pieces were submitted from 29 governments and public institutes, local governments, companies, etc. this year, and ‘innovation’ was the focal point for all sectors.”

ㅇ Furthermore, they added, “The various policies being pursued by the MOLIT are policies that are up-close and highly relevant to the lives of the citizens,” and added, “High scores were given for the will to communicate with citizens and the quality of videos to assertively convey these policies to citizens who are in most need of them.”

□ The Asia-Pacific Stervie Awards is a globally renowned business advertising program and it was first founded in the US in 2002. It currently holds annual awards ceremonies* in the US, Germany and Asia-Pacific.
