□ MOLIT (Minsiter Kim Hyun-mee) announced that production defects were discovered in 38,117 vehicles from 10 models manufactured or imported by Hyundai Motors, FMK, Porsche and Hanbul Motors, and therefore recalls will be conducted.

□ First, in the case of the 32,637* All New Mighty (QT) manufactured by Hyundai Motor, possibility of malfunction or fire caused by overheating was discovered because metal powder accumulated in the internal terminal of the air volume control switch, and thus, recalls will be carried out.
* Of the 32,637 vehicles subject to recall, free repairs were completed for 7,783 vehicles

ㅇ Free repair (repair with improved part) is available at the Hyundai Motors service center and Blue Hands from August 16.

□ Second, 1,383 vehicles such as the M1567D25H, etc. imported and sold by FMK had LED headlight illumination angles set higher than the safety standards due to manufacturing process errors, thus having the potential to cause glare for oncoming vehicle drivers at night, and thus recalls will be made.

ㅇ The said vehicle will begin free recalls (adjustment of LED headlight illumination angle of applicable vehicles) for free at the Maserati official service center from August 19.

□ Third, in 3,239 vehicles from two models such as the Panamera (970) imported and sold by Porsche Korea, it was found that there was the possibility of the transmission lever cable plastic bushings* being damaged due to insufficient durability, and because of this, it could interfere with safe driving as gear change might not occur properly even when the driver changes gear with the lever.
* Thin cylindrical insulation material used for insulation

ㅇThe said vehicle will begin free recalls repair with improved part) at the official Porsche service centers from August 19.

□ Fourth, 858 Peugeot 2008 Allure 1.6 BlueHHDi(ML/G) imported and sold by Hanbul Motors were found to have defects in warning lamps not turning on when air pressure was insufficient because the threshold of the tire air pressure warning device was set too high after conducting inspections on automobile self-certifications according to the Motor Vehicle Management Act.
* When one of the tires of the vehicle has 20% reduced air pressure in ‘driving air pressure’ or when the minimum pressure is 150kpa, whichever air pressure is bigger, a sign must turn on in the tire air pressure warning device automatic indicator within 10 minutes of total drive time

ㅇ Free recalls (software update) will begin for the said vehicles at official Peugeot service centers from August 16.
