Drone Company Support Hub provides low-rent occupancy spaces for sprouting companies with excellent drone-related technologies or ideas. Tenant companies can also receive various supports that will reinforce their capabilities, such as the support of shared test equipment, prototyping, and patent application fees.

The MOLIT is holding a open call for tenant companies from May 16th to June 14th to discover new companies to move into Drone Company Support Hub. Tenant companies can either apply for independent spaces* (less than 10 spaces) and open spaces** (less than 4).

* Independent spaces are spaces that provides individual occupancy (35 m² to 123.7 m²). The space can vary by company.
** Open spaces provide separate office spaces for each company in the common space (35.4㎡)

To be eligible for occupancy, the applicant must be a person preparing to start a drone-related startup or a founder of a ‘sprouting company’ that was established within 7 years. The MOLIT has been managing Drone Company Support Hub since

2017 to support the growth of new drone-related companies (scale-up). 35 drone companies have been growing into strong, small and medium-sized companies through the various support of the hub.

As the representative companies of the hub, Dots have been developing and commercializing self-destruct drones, and P-Square has been advancing logistics and delivery technologies such as pizza delivery.

Also, with its excellent technology, UVify has grown into the world's number one drone light show company that has commercialized swarm drones, and Drone Freak has been growing into a small but strong company by localizing the production of key parts in drones (frame, flight control, motor, etc.).

Kim Heon-Jeong, Director General for Aviation Policy at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, “I hope that the sprouting companies that become the tenants of Drone Company Support Hub will become promising global drone companies and eventually grow into unicorn companies.”

“The government plans to actively foster the drone industry as a future high-tech industry by continuously discovering necessary support measures related to both policies and strategies,” he said.
