‘2022 Overseas Construction & Plant Day’ was held under commemorating of the slogan, “In the Era of Great Global Transformation, Overseas Construction is Resuming”, and awarded 49 persons of merit for overseas construction development
Ahead of Smart GEO Expo 2022 (scheduled on 2 ~ 4 Nov. at The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister WON Hee-ryong) and the International Contractors Association of Korea (Chairman PARK Sun-ho) announced that ‘2022 Overseas Construction & Plant Day’ commemorative event was held at the Construction Center (Gangnam, Seoul) on 1 November under the slogan of “In the Era of Great Global Transformation, Overseas Construction is Resuming”.
The day of winning the first overseas construction bidding* was designated as the ‘Overseas Construction & Plant Day’ on every 1 November to promote overseas construction and inspire pride and morale of overseas construction workers starting from the year of 2005 while being been held biennially since 2006.
