- Commitment of active cooperation in supporting the implementation of ICAO’s standards and recommended practices as well as efforts on financial support

Deputy Minister for Civil Aviation Office HA Dong-soo of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), Secretary General of the ICAO, along with Ministers and Vice Ministers from 11 countries who attended the ‘ICAO GISS (Global Implementation Support Symposium) 2023’ held on 31 May recognized the importance of close cooperation between the ICAO and its member states for implementing the ICAO’s standards and recommended practices through ‘Policy Strategy Discussion on High-level Implementation Support’, and pledged their support and cooperation for ICAO’s policy support.

* Lebanon, Singapore, Indonesia, Cuba, Fiji, Zimbabwe, Eswatini, India, Angola, etc.

Ministers and Vice Ministers from 11 countries shared policies, experiences and opinions on improving implementation support for aviation industry development, securing and strengthening aviation experts to mutually cooperate in aviation capacity development, promoting data sharing and supporting digital technology development, discovering financial resources to support sustainable air transportation, and establishing common environmental standards, and so forth.
