‘Airport Company Hiring Day’ Held at Gimpo Airport

□ MOLIT (Minister Kim Hyun-mee) and Korea Airports Corporation (CEO Son Chang-wan), together with the airport job employment support center will host the ‘Airport Company Hiring Day‘ on the fourth floor of the Gimpo Airport International Terminal from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on the 31st.

□ Five companies at Gimpo Airport participated in this event in the aircraft maintenance (Hi Air), ground operations (Sharp Aviation K), business aircraft transport support (ACC), and airline reservation and ticketing call center (Unies), and plans are to hire a total of 50 new employees through 1:1 interviews with job-seekers.


ㅇ Persons looking for employment can receive hiring interviews on site by preparing the documents as requested by companies such as resumes, and documents needed for interviews can be checked at the ‘Aviation Job Portal’.

□ A spokesperson for MOLIT said, “We are planning to gradually expand the ‘Airport Company Hiring Day’ to major airports around the nation to provide practical job matching support between outstanding small and medium companies with job-seekers.”


□ Meanwhile, the aviation job employment center is pursuing various employment support programs for job-seekers in the aviation sector.

ㅇ Consulting is available at all times with 14 mentors in different fields through advanced reservation, and in addition to monthly Airport Company Hiring Days, other programs such as employment support seminars are also being held every quarter.

ㅇ Furthermore, the ‘Aviation Job Relay Seminar’ and ‘Second Aviation Industry Employment Expo’ and etc. are also being scheduled at Gimhae, Gwangju and Jeju Airports in June.
