□ MOLIT (Minister Kim Hyun-mee) will publicly invite the ‘2019 public construction green remodeling* support project’ for public institutes** to promote improvement of energy performance for old public buildings until February 28.

- ‘Design consulting’ is a project to provide optimal performance improvement plans that include providing performance improvement plans, computation of project costs, etc. following building status evaluations.
□ Applications can be downloaded from the MOLIT homepage from January 11 to February 28 and after filling out the application, submit to the Green Modeling Creation Center.
□ Furthermore, in order to help with the understanding for the project invitation and its direction, a business seminar* is scheduled to be held in the greater Seoul area and central area of South Korea for prospective participants such as public institute personnel and businesses (including green modeling businesses).
□ MOLIT Green Architecture Division Manager Kim Tae-oh said, “Promoting green modeling is important for improving the energy performance of existing buildings in order to reduce greenhouse gases from a national level, and we will do our best to create leading success cases in public buildings and expand it to the private sector.”
