• Organizing Committee Launched for the 2026 ITS World Congress in Gangneung, Rep. of Korea new post The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Minister KIM Yun-duk) and Gangneung City (Mayor KIM Hong-kyu) held the launch ceremony of the Organizing Committee for the 32nd Gangneung ITS* World Congress (Gangneung ITS World Congress) on the afternoon of October 23rd. * ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems): Systems that enhance traffic flow and safety by incorporating the latest technologies, such as AI and edge computing, into transportation facilities and vehiclesThe ITS World Congress is the world's largest international conference and exhibition in the field of intelligent transportation, serving as a platform for international cooperation to strengthen cooperation between countries and companies, which is held annually traveling across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.Following the ITS World Congresses held in Seoul in 1998 and Busan in 2010, the ITS World Congress in Korea for its third time is going to be held in the east coast city of Gangneung starting 19 October 2026 for five days.Please refer to the attached files or the preview for more details!
