‘Joint Private-Public Regional Relay Seminar on Aviation Jobs’
- Providing hiring information and employment knowhow in Busan (Jun 3), Gwangju (Jun 5), and Jeju (Jun 11) -
□ The ‘Joint Private-Public Regional Relay Seminar on Aviation Jobs’ will be held in Busan (Jun 3), Gwangju (Jun 5) and Jeju (Jun 11).
ㅇ Together with the Korea Airports Corporation (CEO Son Chang-wan) and the aviation job employment support center, MOLIT (Minister Kim Hyun-mee) said, “The ‘aviation job regional relay seminar’ will be held in Busan, Gwangju and Jeju starting on June 3 to provide support for jobs for young adults living in the respective regions.”
□ This event will be made up of the ‘employment seminar’ held by employees in HR teams of eight participating companies and ‘successful employment knowhow’ joined by new employees working in the industry including pilots, technicians and cabin crews.
ㅇ First, personnel from HR teams of participating companies will provide information on open hiring plans in the second half of the year, while also giving detailed explanations on actual interviews such as tips for writing resumes that could receive better evaluations, preferred candidates of companies, and internal and external issues.
ㅇ About 10 people who were recently hired in office jobs or as pilots, technicians and passenger crew will share their knowhow and episodes about preparing for job interviews and finally being hired to job-seekers, and will provide practical help related to employment through Q&A sessions.
□ A spokesperson for MOLIT said, “This regional relay seminar is significant in that it has spread the employment support that focused on the Seoul area such as in Incheon and Gimpo, and we plan to pursue various employment support programs to resolve employment information imbalances between the Seoul area and other regions.”
