All aircraft takeoffs and landings nationwide for 35 minutes from 1:05 PM to 1:40 PM on Thursday 13 November (KST), including 5 minutes

before and after the English listening section of the annual College Scholastic Ability Test, Suneung, will be completely restricted under the

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister KIM Yoon-duk).

This measure aims to prevent aircraft noise affecting the test-takers, applying it to all aircraft except emergency and special-purpose flights, prohibiting from taking off during the time period, while aircraft already in flight needed maintaining an altitude of at least 3 kilometers

above ground.

A total of 140 flights (65 international and 75 domestic) are expected to be rescheduled as part of proactive air traffic flow management,

providing advance notification to passengers regarding any adjusted flight times.

To ensure compliance with the flight restrictions, the Seoul Regional Office of Aviation will issue public advisories through online platforms

each on the "Drone One-Stop Civil Petition" for drones and the "One-Stop Civil Petition System" for ultra-light aviation devices and others to notify the general public of the strict flight suspension.

The Air Traffic Management Office of MOLIT will maintain a real-time and continuous cooperative system with relevant air traffic control

agencies such as Air Traffic Control Regional Offices and Approach Control Units including military ones, Korea Airports Corporation, Incheon International Airport Corporation, and airlines to ensure the smooth implementation of aircraft takeoff and landing controls during the

affected timeframe.
