The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT; Minister KIM Yun-duk) and the Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor PARK Chan-dae) are set to jointly host the 2026 Korea Drone & UAM Expo under the theme “Reshaping Daily Life, Designing the Future” for three days from
July 15 to 17 in and around Songdo Convensia in Incheon.
The Expo is Korea’s leading event dedicated to drones and urban air mobility (UAM), presenting how these technologies are expected to
transform logistics, transportation, public safety, and leisure activities through an industrial exhibition, international conferences, a drone
light show, a drone soccer tournament, and a UAM showcase.
In particular, visitors will be able to witness a public flight demonstration of the “K-UAM Air Taxi” on the morning of July 15 between 10:00
a.m. and 10:40 a.m., prior to the opening ceremony at 11:00 a.m., at Incheon National University near the main venue. A domestically
developed UAM aircraft will conduct an actual flight demonstration, illustrating the future potential of urban air mobility for emergency
medical services, disaster response, and enhanced public transportation.
