MOLIT Minister WON Hee-ryong met with Stephen Fitzpatrick, CEO of Vertical Aerospace (hereafter Vertical), a British aircraft manufacturer, and JANG Seong-wook, Vice President of Kakao Mobility, at the Government Complex Sejong on Tue. 16 May to discuss cooperative ways in order to smoothly pursue the vision of Korean government for UAM commercialization and demonstration project (Grand Challenge).

The Vertical is a British aircraft manufacturing company participating in the Phase 1 of UAM demonstration project that will start in earnest in Goheung, Jeollanam-do from 23 August by forming the 'UAM Future Team Consortium' with Kakao Mobility, GS E&C, LGU+, and Pablo Air, and made this visit to Korea for follow-up discussions within the Consortium after the signing of the First Phase of the Grand Challenge last 22 February.
