The MOLIT has led the on-site inspection group for the Air Navigation Commission (ANC)* in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for 5 days from 2 to 7 July.
* As a commission under ICAO, ANC is a body that makes important decisions such as establishing international standards for improving technology and safety of air transportation, and, Korea has been strengthening its aviation status by continuously fostering navigation officers since 2005.

The field inspection this time was attended by 23 ANC commissioners from 16 countries, including the US, UK, Japan, China, France, Germany, and so on, paying visits to Incheon Area Control Tower, Incheon Air Traffic Control Regional Office, Korea Airports Corporation, Incheon International Airport Corporation, Korea Aerospace Research Institute, Korean Air, and t’way Air, etc.
