To Strengthen Infrastructure Cooperation with New Paraguayan Government

Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport WON Hee-ryong has been visiting Paraguay as a special envoy to celebrate the inauguration of the new President of Paraguay (15 Aug.), paying a courtesy call on President Santiago Peña Palacios to convey President Yoon's special congratulatory messages and an autograph letter.
Meanwhile, Minister Won met with the President of the Senate of Paraguay Silvio Adalberto Ovelar Benítez (14 Aug.) to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between Korea and Paraguay as well as Korean companies' participation in the Asuncion Light Rail Project.
