8th Asia-Pacific Urban Forum

Vice Minister KIM Oh-jin of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport attended the 8th Asia-Pacific Urban Forum held at the Suwon Convention Center on the afternoon of Mon. 23 October to discuss the direction of sustainable urban development in the Asia-Pacific region after the pandemic and to ask for attention on the bidding for the 2030 World EXPO in Busan.
The Asia-Pacific Urban Forum is the largest consultative body in Asia-Pacific organized by UN-ESCAP (United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific), and is an international conference where public and private stakeholders from 62 countries in the Asia-Pacific region participate for sustainable urban development.
