MOLIT’s Vice Minister for Land and Infrastructure KIM Oh-jin met with the Vice Minister for Economic Affairs and International Cooperation Hugo Rivera, Dominican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Seoul at 2 p.m. on Wednesday 8 November to discuss cooperative ways in the field of infrastructure between the two countries, including the Pedernales Airport project and so forth, and actively called for Dominican support to bring World EXPO 2030 in Busan.

This meeting was held at the request of the Dominican Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, who came to Korea to attend the 3rd Korea-Central America Roundtable (Nov. 8th to 9th organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), as cooperation between the two countries has been further strengthened by the dispatch of the MOLIT’s Bid Support Team to the Dominican Republic (headed by the Vice Minister for Land and Infrastructure) in October.
