Vice Minister for Transport of the MOLIT (Minister PARK Sang-woo) had a meeting with Chief Commercial Officer Nikhil Goel of American aircraft manufacturer Archer Aviation along with Vice President CHOI Woo-yeol of Kakao Mobility at the Government Complex Sejong on the afternoon of May 29th to discuss ways to cooperate in the UAM commercialization and demonstration project (Grand Challenge) by the Korean government.
Archer Aviation is the US company participating in the ‘Consortium of UAM Future Team’ consisting of Kakao Mobility, LGU+, and GS E&C as an aircraft company, and visited Korea to sign an MOU for the participation in the Grand Challenge, while discussing its commercialization in the near future.
