MOLIT’s Minister PARK Sang-woo visited Incheon International Airport on the morning of 26 June to get reported on the current status of safety management in the aviation sector and to inspect the safety management plans for the peak summer travel season when flight operations are concentrated.
This inspection was prepared in response to the recent increase in safety incidents involving domestic airlines and frequent aircraft malfunctions and defects, which have heightened public concerns about aviation safety, with the aim of strengthening the safety management system at the front lines where aircraft operations and maintenance are in charge.
