Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister PARK Sang-woo) JIN Hyun-hwan attended the ‘Korea-Poland-Ukraine Infrastructure & Reconstruction Forum’ on 15 November 2024 in Warsaw, Poland, hosted by the Korean Embassy in Poland and co-organized by the KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), KIND (Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation), and ICAK (International Contractors Association of Korea), and supported by the MOLIT with the goal of solidifying the agenda of ‘Korea-Poland-Ukraine Triangular Cooperation for Ukraine’s Reconstruction’, which was initially discussed during the President's state visit to Poland last year.

At the forum, multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were signed between businesses and institutions from Korea, Poland, and Ukraine in the presence of the MOLIT’s Vice Minister, including the MOUs between KIND-Ukraine and Hyundai Engineering-Ukraine for reconstruction cooperation in energy sector, and Hyundai Engineering-Poland for Ukraine’s reconstruction cooperation utilizing modular system to mark the beginning of discussions on potential participation in energy and modular construction projects for Ukraine’s reconstruction.
