Strengthening Partnership with EU

Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport KIM Yun-duk had a meeting with the European Union’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Ugo Astuto on March 26 in Seoul to discuss ways to expand bilateral cooperation across a range of sectors, including automotive, aviation, R&D, and green partnerships.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on enhancing policy dialogue through the upcoming 3rd Korea-EU High-Level Transport Dialogue, scheduled to take place in Seoul on 29 May 2026, while underscoring the need to identify joint priorities and develop cooperative projects in the field of eco-friendly and sustainable mobility such as carbon neutrality and sector-specific transport policies.
