On-site Inspection of Asphalt Supply Chain Stability in Ulsan

The Chairperson, KIM Yong-seok, of the Metropolitan Transport Commission under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) inspected asphalt production facilities at the SK Energy Ulsan Complex on April 10 to assess the supply and demand situation of asphalt, a key construction material, and to examine the stability of the supply chain with industry stakeholders amid uncertainties from the ongoing Middle East conflict, while MOLIT’s designated emergency task force continues to closely monitor construction sites for subsequent impacts.
