Efforts to Cope with Climate Change and Transport Innovation by Strengthening Global Cooperation

MOLIT took part in the 2nd Korea-EU High-Level Talks on Transport Cooperation* held in Brussels, Belgium on 21 May.
* As it is a meeting group for policy cooperation that was agreed to be launched following the summit meeting between the two sides in 2020, the first transport cooperation talks was held in 2022 on the occasion of the visit by the EU delegation to Korea.
At this Transport Cooperation Talks, Vice Minister for Transport BAEK Won-kug of the MOLIT and Director-General for Mobility and Transport Magda Kopczynska of the EU exchanged opinions on global issues such as the Ukraine war and the Red Sea crisis, as well as an in-depth discussion on the Korea-EU aviation partnership project and carbon neutrality strategies in the aviation, shipping, and land transportation sectors.
