Minister HONG Jee-sun of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) attended the opening ceremony of the 2026 Gangneung ITS World Congress, held at Gangneung Olympic Park from 19 to 23 October 2026 under the theme “Beyond Mobility, Connected World.”
Bringing together government officials, international organizations, industry leaders and researchers from around the world, the Congress serves as a global platform for sharing advances in AI-powered Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and exploring their integration with autonomous driving and digital infrastructure. The event also showcases Korea’s ITS capabilities and promotes international cooperation and overseas business opportunities for Korean companies in the sector.
