Minister HONG Jee-sun and Vice Minister for Transport JEONG Eui-kyung of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) held bilateral meetings with representatives from Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Ireland and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) on the sidelines of the 2026 Gangneung ITS World Congress. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and future mobility, including technology and policy exchanges, pilot projects and joint research.
